During the on-site trip to Vietnam of the FACE (Fulton Accelerated Community Engagement) program of Arizona State University, organized by Global Engagement Institute, the students had a visit to the Control & Automation Solutions Eco-Factory.
Here, the students of EPICS at ASU were introduced to many technologies being researched and developed by the company’s experts such as climate-smart agriculture, smart fertigation, biotech, etc…This knowledge is close to the program that students are studying at ASU, so they are very excited and attentive to listen, and also actively discuss with our experts to better understand how these technologies work.
This is a very meaningful activity in the FACE, because the program is where Engineering leaders is created to solve today’s problems. After the tour, they can see the benefits that the solutions at CAS bring to the development of the green economy and circular economy, helping to solve a huge problem today – the Environment.
In the evening of the same day, after finishing the tour, the group went on a food tour on Chau Thi Vinh Te street – a bustling and very famous culinary street among students in Da Nang. The whole group enjoyed very typical Vietnamese dishes such as Bun dau mam tom, bo nuong la lot, banh trang nuong etc. In addition, there are some students who are very interested in the style of making birthday cake in Vietnam.
